Our Services

We provide excellent service and professionalism for your complete satisfaction.

Mowing

Sposato mows, power edges, and trims to height of 3.5"-4". All blades are sharpened daily and machines are serviced regularly.

Pruning

Sposato performs pruning of all ornamental shrubs twice annually as well as up-limbing of branches obstructing roadways or sidewalks.

Mulching

Sposato will re-define edges to all mulch beds and apply a granular pre-emergent to help prevent weed growth. Sposato will then install 1.5"-2" of pine straw to help insulate soil from temperature extremes, moisture loss and erosion by wind and rain. Pine straw also decreases soil compaction and promotes favorable soil conditions for healthy root growth.

Winter Cutbacks

Sposato will cutback all ornamental grasses and perennials.

Tips & Educational Resources

Landscaping Tips

1. Keep your pop up drains clear. Don't let grass grow over them because that can result in many different scenarios that you wouldn't want. (i.e. water backing up by foundation of home, water getting trapped between sod layer and soil. This can create a large area where water is trapped between the 2 layers. It feels like a water bed).

2. Please do your best to keep hoses and other items out of the yard. If the grass gets tall the guys may not see the item in time to move it.

3. When it rains please shut off your irrigation system.

Irrigation Tips

1. Proper Irrigation is about finding the right settings for each lawn. Click HERE for watering tips.

2. There is an easier way to adjust your irrigation for the different seasons. Your controller will have a "Season Adjust" or "Percent Scale" feature. If you go to this feature you can reduce the run time of each zone in 1 simple step. Example: If you have your zones set to 20 min. That means at a seasonal adjust of 100% your zones will run for 20 min. If you set your seasonal adjust to 75% then each zone will only run for 15 min.
